I came across a quote by Oliver Wendell Holmes which says, “Most of us go to our graves with our music still inside us, unplayed.”  This quote reminded me of what God has been sharing in our hearts these past weeks on the topic of “Greater Things!”

Together, we have gained a powerful understanding of the truth that we are created for greater things and therefore must believe and expect to receive and achieve greater things.  And, now we have started explore the meaning of Ephesians 2:10 which tells us that God has prepared those greater things for us to do.

Yes, God has already instilled talents, ideas, goals, perspectives, and a marvelous personality to fulfill those greater things which He has prepared in advance for you to do.  Yet for many, those things have not been realized.  They are much like the music to which Mr. Holmes describes as “still inside us, unplayed.”

God has placed them within you to empower you to accomplish the greater things in life.  His desire is to bring joy, completeness, health, and wholeness into your life.  He has given you a certain set of talents to actively engage in your life and ministry!

Ask yourself, “Is there unplayed music in my life?”  I pray for you to discover new ways to play the music inside of you to the joy of the One who placed it there!
