Conquering Weariness

I fervently pray that you are supernaturally challenged and enlightened today as you meditate for a few moments on this vitally important point of how to conquer weariness.

Most of us have heard sermons about the valleys and mountains, ups and downs, easy and hard times which everyone must face in life.  Today there are many families, friends, and church families who are pressing through trials which are testing their perseverance and faith.  God has empowered each of us so that we can consistently walk forward without adverse effects by difficult times or experiences.

During these trying seasons we think of verses which tell us that:  “We are more than conquerors,” “No weapon formed against us shall prosper,” “Greater is He that is in us,” “God has given us everything we need for life and godliness by His divine power,” and “Ask anything in My name and it will be given to you.”  Those divine words are covenant promises that you can be victorious.

Still, preparedness does make a difference.  Our internal preparedness determines how much hold weariness can take when storms come.  How is it that some believers maintain and demonstrate confidence and peace during stormy seasons?  How do they overcome the weariness and continue walking forward?  They prepared.  They move beyond simply knowing the scripture and begin proclaiming it.  Consider this verse from the Message Bible.

But there’s one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope: God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.  They’re created new every morning. How great is your faithfulness! Lamentations 3:21-23 MB

Declare God’s merciful love new in your life today!  I love how the Message Bible continues into verse 24, “I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over).”  Say it over and over!  Declare – “How great is Your merciful love!  How great is Your faithfulness!  They are created for me, fresh and new every morning!”

Set aside some time to read Psalm 103.  Meditate upon the benefits God daily provides for you.  You will be encouraged, receive direction, and  be strengthened.

Remind yourself now of the benefits and blessings eagerly awaiting to be enacted in your life through your Savior, Jesus Christ! You will be refreshed, re-ignited, and prepared! You will conquer weariness!

I pray strength upon you today.  I believe God’s supernatural power is working within you and through you.  I know you will be successful in all you do as you do it unto the Lord.  Be encouraged today and receive strength knowing that Alisa and I are supporting you, your family, and  ministry through our prayers!
