The Obstacle Course of Life & Ministry

I pray for this ‘Word of Encouragement’ to powerfully lift you today!  If you are:

– going through a struggle,
– have questions of remaining in ministry,
– looking for a breakthrough in your finances, or are
– trusting to see a harvest from your years of laboring in the Gospel,

then be encouraged to know that God loves you and has a plan for you.  His plan centers on hope and a future!  Therefore, if you have ever found yourself wondering ‘Will God come through for me?’ or ‘Can I depend on God?’, I want you to realize  that you are not alone in feeling this way.  Moreover, the resounding answer to these questions is “YES!”

Many believers do not have difficulty in believing in God.  But, for some reason, their doubts turn from mole hills into mountains when it comes to trusting God to see them through a problem.

As I was recently reminded while reading, “One of the most powerful lessons we can learn is that even when bad things happen and we don’t know what to do about them, we can trust God to be present and working on our behalf, creating a path through the most painful wilderness.”

Maybe you are experiencing what appears to be an insurmountable problem right now, that “most painful wilderness.”  What should you do?  Put your FULL TRUST in God by acting on it!  As James says, ‘faith without action is dead.’  Your trust in God is action as well as attitude.  Even if it is one small step followed by another small step, you will soon discover that the more you act on your faith in God, the more His way will become visible.

Your problem may seem like a huge obstacle course.  Don’t try to look at the whole thing at once, simply focus on the next step God has for you to take.
