Have you been wondering what the next step is for your ministry?  Do you want to see more growth, more outreach, establish a missions budget, or find ways to more effectively reach into your local school system?  What is the next step?  What will work?  What won’t work?

Maybe your current questions aren’t currently focused on ministry.  Maybe there are questions in your heart about you and your family.  Questions like:  Should you step into a new area of ministry?  Should you start a family?  Should you sell your home and move into a new one?  How can you bring healing to a broken family relationship?  What should you do to get your finances back on track?

All of us have questions.  All of us need direction.  Within each of our hearts is a desire to succeed by making the right choices.  What steps can you take toward making the right choices?  Proverbs 24:6 (TEV) says, “The more good advice you get, the more likely you are to win.”

When it comes to discovering the right answers to your questions, the first thing you and I should do is ask God and He will generously give us the direction we need.  (James 1:5)

The second thing can be a little more challenging.  We should establish a good support system of friends whom love God and share our faith.  Proverbs 20:18 (TEV) says, “Get good advice and you will succeed.”  But note here that the ‘good advice’ should come from fellow believers.  Consider the Amplified Bible’s explanation of 2 Corinthians 6:14.  “Do not make mismated alliances with them …(who are)…inconsistent with your faith.”

Can you name 3 close companions who share your faith, are committed to you both in life and ministry, desire the best for you, encourage you, assist you, and pray for you?  If not, make a quality decision to establish these relationships in your life.  Getting the right answers from God and establishing a support system are life-long necessities to win!
