Jesus Has EMPOWERED YOU for Victory!
Psalm 24:1 shouts aloud, “The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it!” Do you fully comprehend that complete declaration? The earth, everything in it, and everyone in it belong to the Lord!
Too frequently, we allow ourselves to listen to the devil’s spin on things and allow ourselves to be defeated when, in true reality, we have already won. Remember, you are MORE than a conqueror! You are already IN Christ Jesus. Is there sickness in Christ? Is there lack in Christ? Is there confusion in Christ? Is there any defeat in Christ? The answer is a resounding NO!
Your enemy, the devil, has had 1,000’s of years of practice at spinning the truth to deceive you. You may have once heard that the most believable lies are ones with some truth in them. The truth is that the answers to those questions above are NO! Now, some believers’ first thought is going to be, ‘But this is a fallen world. There is nothing we can do while in this world about sickness, lack, failure, etc.’ Did Christ suffer sickness, lack, failure, defeat while in this world? No! He, as your example, overcame them and then gave that same authority to you! He declared ‘greater works will you do!’ Remind yourself, that ‘You are in the world, but not of the world.’ ‘Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.’ ‘The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you.’ Even if these three verses along with Ps. 24:1 above were the only four verses you knew, they are well more than enough to prove to you that you are created for victory! You are created to WIN!
And, as long as you are continuing to move forward in Christ, you are winning! By His great power, God has given you everything you need for life and for godliness! (2 Peter 1:3) He has placed at your fingertips everything that is His. Everything in heaven and earth is yours for your benefit to live a victorious life!
If you are facing problems, then put them where they belong – under your feet along with the problem maker, the devil! If you have to, then tell yourself out loud over and over again that Jesus, who is in you, is bigger than any problem or person. Jesus defeated satan once and for all! Jesus has empowered you to walk forward in victory through the power of the written Word of God!
