True Connections This Christmas – Challenge from Pastor Gary

Why are you in ministry? Why are you doing what you are doing? What is your driving purpose to keep moving forward in ministry?

Though your answers to those questions may slightly differ from someone else’s response, you will discover there is an underlying motivation common to all of us. All of us desire to see results from the efforts we make. You and I desire to see lives transformed by the power of God. Throughout this Christmas season, we will be involved in extra activities and events with the ultimate desire of bringing people closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, during the hustle and bustle of this hurried season, be focused on ‘making connections.’ That is to say, direct your efforts toward ‘connecting people to Christ.’ Though the music, festivities, food, and events are marvelous opportunities to reach out, it can all be without meaning and success if a ‘True Connection’ is not made.

‘True Connections’ begin with you soaking in the presence of God. Then, you will more clearly hear and recognize each opportunity to connect someone with Christ throughout this Christmas celebration.

Let’s work together in seeing lives transformed as we truly connect people with their Savior this season!
