Sputnik Ball

The teacher displays a clear acrylic cylinder and three balls, - two red and one yellow. The two red balls are dropped into the clear cylinder, which is covered with another silver cylinder just big enough to fit around the crystal one.

The yellow ball is actually placed in a pocket. When the silver cylinder is lifted off the clear one, the yellow ball is between the two red ones.

This is a clever mechanical item consists of a clear acrylic tube approximately 5.5 inches high, and a little under 2 inches in diameter. The silver tube is in stainless steel, and large enough to just fit over the acrylic tube. You also get all the required balls and full working instructions.
